John has been involved in a variety of public and private sector businesses during his career. In the earlier years he worked as a civil engineer doing subdivision design and construction, followed by policy planning for the Government of the Northwest Territories and then operated his own construction-related business in Vancouver. More recently he grew a small Vancouver-based company into Canada’s primary manufacturer and installer of emergency elevator communication equipment with branches across the country. Over the past 5 years he and Rob have developed a popular database management software program which enhances the productivity of engineering consulting firms and allows clients easy access to their data. In his spare time, John is president of a 150-home HOA in Arizona and enjoys golf and gardening. John received his civil engineering degree from Queen’s University and his MBA from the Ivey School of Business.
Over Rob’s career, he has held positions from Junior Engineer through to CEO. While working in the energy sector (TC Energy), Rob led IT and supply chain teams that spanned North America. In the innovation sector, Rob had senior leadership roles in two technology incubators as well as founded two of his own companies that provided innovation management consulting to small businesses, governments and crown corporations in the domains of information technology, energy, clean tech, and health technology. Rob has sat on the boards of the Ability Society, InfoTech AB (Banff Venture Forum), Calgary Angel Network and Nipika Mountain Resorts. Rob is a Professional Engineer with a civil engineering degree and an MBA from Queen's University as well as a Master of Environmental Design from the University of Calgary.

After studying the structure of membrane proteins involved in nerve function, Ivan pursued another interest of his and worked in economic development supporting, training, and then advising technology-based entrepreneurs to develop better partnerships with clients, providers, financers, and most importantly with other entrepreneurs. After supporting over 600 clients at different stage of development and a multitude of industry associations nurturing the development of technology clusters in Southern Alberta, Ivan worked with a nonprofit agency implementing the poverty reduction strategy for Calgary. All through his career path Ivan has supported colleagues, clients, and partners in finding the most effective technology solutions to support their business. Ivan trained as a Biochemist in Chile and completed a PhD in Neuroscience at The University of Calgary. After graduation Ivan has trained in Change Management (Prosci) and Partnership Brokerage (Partnership Brokers Association).
